Okay, so what's the issue with Zelda for the Wii?

People keep talking about the shitty graphics - the game looks fine. Sure, its a little more "realistic" rendered then the prior ones (or any for that matter) but I don't see the problems. Maybe it's just because I don't care that much about graphics...? Dunno.

As a side note, got another Wii today. It's on eBay, hopefully it will pull in more cash then the damn PS3 did.

Sold PS3 on eBay - ho hum

So we bought it at a wal-mart discount for $540, the damn auction went off for $610.00. After all the fee's and crap we Net roughly $16.00.

Not a real great sale, but I guess that's just how it is with PS3's. Nobody really cares.

Ironically a guy down the road wanted us to close the auction and pay us in cash ($750.00). But since the PS3 auctions are so "hot" we didn't want to get hit with a violation on eBay by pulling an auction. So we played the good guy and left the auction running, hoping we'd get whatever we got...well we got barely anything.

Why I Pays To Have A Mom A Wal-Mart

Got a call this morning at 9am, caller-id said "Wal-Mart." It was my mother telling me someone just returned a Nintendo Wii unopened. Using this inside tip we flew down and ask the person at the front podium if they had Wii's available (yes, it was my mother). Her response "why yes sir, we have one at the customer service desk"

So yes, we now have a Wii. Cannot use it right now, but its in the computer room sitting next to our PS3 (that's up on eBay now)

Wohoo!!

The Irony

Dsmooth constantly calls me a Sony basher, Sony hater and continues to remind me of why Sony sucks from my point of view.

Well, I now own a Sony PS3 60GIG. My mother managed to get one before they hit the shelves at Wal-Mart, who received 12 of them (one is still sitting in the locked cabinet or so it was). I got a fairly good deal on it ($540.00) because she has a discount card at Wally world (that's street talk for Wal-Mart).

Issue #8 Topic List Released!

Yea yeah, is about time, eh? I just sent this to all my writers (if I forgot you again, PM/comment/e-mail editor@2old2play.com and I'll add you):

This issue will start the new year, so I'd like to get a few topics that may predict upcoming events. This issue will release in mid-to-late February, just to get your timing right (i.e. "happy new year" articles may not apply to Feb.)

Here are somethings to think about:

Support 2old2play And Social Networking

After listening to Buzz Out Loud (CNET's podcast of indeterminant length) I found a little news tidbit, digg.com now has podcast digging! Wohoo, so I checked it out and we're on there (not sure if we put ourselves there or what).

You can digg the 2old2play podcast AND you can also digg each episode. Yes, I went through and dugg them all, pushing some of them from 0 to 1. I'm totally a leader not a follower ;-) Or I was just "the first."
