My grandmother passed away on Wednesday - not a real great week for the family. We're all dealing with it, as we knew it was going to occur soon due to the cancer that she had been diagnosed with last week on Thanksgiving (see prior blogs if you care to read it).

We've got a bunch of users online again :) We'll hold out for the release tomorrow A.M.

Sorry for saying Wednesday-Thursday when it's Friday. But it's only off by a day :)

For those that have read a prior blog, my grandmother is dying of cancer - we found out on Thanksgiving. Well, she's now comfortable at my fathers house and the entire family was over tonight.

My father lives five minutes down the road, which is nice, and that allowed me to get over there fast. My grandmother asked, today, if everyone was going to come and see her tonight... figuring "she knows" her time is coming close (she was given 3 weeks to live, but it seems like it may be more like measured in hours not days).

For those going "codemonkey is an assface and forgot about the magazine" it's only half true. Yes, I'm an assface, but I didn't forget about the magazine.

As a matter of fact, its baked and it's ready - almost. At the moment we're going to roll it out in a "timely fashion" which means it will hit the news sometime between Tuesday and Wednesday. Right now we're not ready to handle the traffic due to a few flash crowd sessions that are occurring and may continue to have (in small hits) for the next day.

I've been playing a bit of Gears of War. For fun? A bit, but also to test out a customer issue on my website where one of our customers said GoW gives them an "unreadable disc" error on Act 4. I'm trying to get to Act 4 before they return it so I can test the issue locally (make sure its not his 360 which we sold him). I believe its the game, shit happens. I just want to be sure.

Wow act 4 is a long way through the damn game.
