Doodi, Dsmooth, and I had a little round table discussion about how we're going to pull off the writers contest. Starting next monday we will publish the first article of the five, in no specific order, on the front page news.

This is important, because, we need everyone to participate in this -  a site wide effort. Why? Because each individual writer in this contest contributed blood sweat and tears to win the contest. However, an article is only good if it has an audience to read it.

Holding a real job and keeping up with hourly gaming news is rough. I could use some help with a secondary phase of total 2old2play domination.

I'm looking for a few good folks that use digg.com (or want to) to post some of our news tidbits on a consistent basis. A few folks are kind enough to keep me updated with some of the news that I miss or have not got to yet (Zero1, Tank, Q, and others). However, if we can post it on digg.com before others news sites do (or win out the digg) it will mean more eyes on our site.

The top 5 articles from the writing contest are as follows:

All those involved with issue #5, and for those that were waiting patiently for us to get this thing out the door.

I had to make some touch-ups on the credits (forgot Darth Cestual in the front-page credits, had to squeeze him in).  Running some file size reductions to make it a better download and will hand off to his lord and master to post.  But, I digress, its lunch time first...

I won't say who's in the lead yet, because I don't want to sway any of his votes.  I will say this:

Thank god for a weighted judging system. It was amazing to see some of the different rankings that the team did.  One article may be ranked 24th place by one judge (that's the worst) while another ranked it 6th. A matter of personal opinion and perhaps interest in the topic made them more enthusiastic about it? Dunno, but given the broad range of judges I think we've got a good top #5 coming.
