Haha...I finally had a date.

Yes, it was with a lady and I didn't have to pay her to go out with me you pickle smoochers.  Went out and had a nice steak dinner.  Well, I ate steak and she had chicken, but that's not the point.  Then I took her to the local feast/feista a couple towns over and rode some rides there.  All in all, it was rather fun.  Maybe my luck is changing.  It's about freaking time.  Doesn't help that I'm working two jobs though.  Anyways, Kudos to me.

I didnt know whistling "Dixie" would start a controversy

While at work today, I was listening to my MP3 player while mopping floors.  I just happened to have a Doug Kershaw cover of "Dixies Land" downloaded on it.  I was humming and whistling along when I heard some harsh conversation behind me.  I looked around and saw three students complaining about me doing it.  Not because I was disturbing them by being too loud, but because I happen to be listening and humming along with that song.  I appologized and went to the next one so as not to cause any more problem.  A couple minutes later, I was approached by the Dean of Students who asked me if I i

Bill Monroe would be scratching his head.

Today, after getting my truck out of the shop, I was surfing the radio stations.  Its always the same thing, a bunch of mindless dribble.  I did catch the tail end of some Styx, but thats not what this is about.  I get to 90.4 FM and I hear a mandolin and banjo getting played so I decided to stop.  I was thinking to myself, "Alright they are playing some Bluegrass; maybe a few people up here do know what good music is."  I almost instantly recognize the song as "Blue Moon of Kentucky."  As the next verse comes up I start to sing along, but what I sing didnt match.  Thinking that I was on the

I restarted my XBL account

After not being able to play for a few weeks, I started having these weird desires to shoot things.  Since all I do now is work and sleep, now and then eat and maybe even drink beer, I started to grow bored.  I came to the conclusion that its only $50 and I should stop being such a tight wad.  So, I am back online for any of those who ever gamed with me.

Wow, my Sega article took off.

When I wrote it, I didnt think much of it.  I loved Sega growing up and I wanted to write about something to add to the site.  I spend enough time on here, so I figured I would give something back.  Ive donated before, but I dont make enough to do it all the time.  Hence the two jobs I have.  Id like to thank everyone who helped me write it up, proof it, and finally put it out there for everyone to see.  A big thanks to CodeMonkey for letting me write it and to DoodiRock for posting it up.  He just told me that it has over 26000+ reads.  If any one is looking for a writer, that will pay me o

No love for Fighter Aces.

You know, with as many people that we have onboard 2O2P, there just doesnt seem to be a strong following for PC flight sims.  I know there are some out there and I have talked to some of them.  Most just dont want to start a new game or have just gotten away from the genre.  Dont get me wrong now, I love me some Halo 2 and Oblivion.  I play a large assortment of games though.  RPG, FPS, RTS, and turn based sims are my main stays, but I love zooming and booming with a SpitFire Mk XIV at 400 mph.  What can I say, I love shooting down Nazis in brick-throwing Wurgers or speedy FW-190Ds.
