I thought I would share a bit about me with this post, a confession perhaps.

And that confession would be that I really like to kiss my wife while she sleeps. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like kissing her whenever, but I enjoy kissing her while she sleeps and is unaware.

Sometimes I will wake up in the middle of the night and look over at her peaceful face, glowing a bit from all of the LED lights from the clock radios and the TV. She looks like a sleeping angel.

So, tonight I am rocking my 2.5 year old before putting him in his bed for the evening just like every other night more often than not.

I usually sing to him and more often than not he will make requests, not for particular songs, but for songs about things he encountered during the day - a swimming pool song, a dog song, a pizza song, you get the idea.

So, tonight he asked for a rock song. A rock song? Ok, you got it man.

I sang Rock and Roll All Night by KISS.

Saturday evening they had the "Mud Races" at the County Expo which is where off road vehicles attempt to push their way through or over a 200 foot long course of deep mud. My son Christopher, being a 5 year old boy, has a genetically predisposed affinity to anything involving dirt so I thought I would take him.

Ok people. You may have heard this before but I am going to say it again - using Microsoft Internet Explorer to browse the internet is like playing Russian Roulette with 5 rounds in your six shooter. You are going to have an accident and it will be sooner rather than later.

When I hear those words or a close approximation, I know I am in for a treat. A vague, meandering story about a young boy "fixin puters on tha side cuz hes real smart".

Recently, while on a return trip from my parents house in West Texas, myself, Cutie and our three kiddos stopped at a Goodwill in Big Springs.
