I have had some real urges lately.  At work... I miss the time outside, so when I get an an urge I go to the bathroom and put on lip gloss.  Holy crap I am sporting a Shiny Pout today!!  I was really having issues with concentration and headaches when I was taking the full dose, so I pulled back to half this past weekend.  Side effects are much better, but I am getting an urge here or there.  The double dose was just nutty though. 

My daughter turned 4 today.  And God gave her snow.  4 inches of it.  We had a pancake breakfast at IHOP.   No school for either of them. 

I'm just rolling along now. Bit of a headache, but I can't really tell if it is from lack of smoking or the intense emotional hurricane I survived last night from a fellow PMS clan member. The dreams seemed to be a little worse, but at least it helps me get up in the morning! :)

Blame it on Obama, but CHANGE is in the air of the Jeep household.

I think that by changing one thing.. it has spurred a great deal of other things.

I am now 5 days smoke free. This weekend I conquered my daughter's 4th birthday party (Halo Laser Tag Tea Party), drinking with my friends on saturday evening, and a major clanmates meltdown last night. All without want of a smoke. All without thinking of a smoke.

Blame it on Obama, but CHANGE is in the air of the Jeep household.

I think that by changing one thing.. it has spurred a great deal of other things.

I am now 5 days smoke free. This weekend I conquered my daughter's 4th birthday party (Halo Laser Tag Tea Party), drinking with my friends on saturday evening, and a major clanmates meltdown last night. All without want of a smoke. All without thinking of a smoke.

Twittering with some peeps today.  One of them had brought her Zune, but forgotten her earbuds.... (all together now, ala Napoleon Dynamite) GOSH!

What if there was a bluetooth device you simply pulled out of your Mp3 player.  OR  What if you could hook up any bluetooth enable headset to it.  Why's it always gotta be those damn earbuds?

Although I had major issues last night to deal with (dramatic goodbye posting, squabble on a small team, and the collateral damage that follows) I resisted the urge! Now, I chewed a whole pack of Stride gum..... but resisted the urge.

Tomorrow is official quit date. No turning back after that.

New avatar!

Husband has been keeping me busy with strange tasks on my journey to quit smoking.  So far so good.  Started the Chantix last Friday.  Yesterday only smoke a few... today, NONE so far.  :)  I've broken my habit down and am quitting using a combo method.
