French Connection

Uber-rushed tonight. But I can't NOT be the first person to point out the following:

New French President Nicolas Sarkozy looks EXACTLY like television actor Tony Shalhoub from Wings and Monk fame. In fact, I'm pretty sure they're the same person. Please note that they have NEVER publicly appeared in the same place. You heard it here first.

Must-See TV

Argh. No time to post. One important item, however:

The 2nd Republican Presidential Debate will be televised tonight at 9:00 PM on Fox [sic] News.

I will not be able to watch it as I've got Fox News turned off on my DirecTV channel list, and I don't care enough to figure out how to turn it back on.

I am, however, anticipating Sam Brownback to deny the existence of gravity and levitate across the stage.

Thick as a brick

It was a beautiful morning today in Naptown. I finished mowing the lawn early, weeded the flower beds, and built a dog ramp (more on that in the future...maybe). After a light lunch, I decided I needed (and deserved) a nap. Went to the garage in search of the hammock. Most regrettably, I wasn't able to locate it. Er, that's the hammock, not the garage.

I did however, find find something much better. Something I'd forgot about. A brick. Not just any brick, but this brick:

Wherefore art thou brain?

This Sunday will mark two months since we first brought home our new dog, Romeo. It has been about 13 months since he was manufactured by ACME, and there are many things I've learned since then. Among these are:

I Club Huckabee

I wouldn't, dear readers, even for moment attempt to deceive you into thinking I'm an organized person. If I were so inclined, I'd probably segway into tonight's blog by insinuating it was my intention all along to meld the previous two day's topics into one in a delicate ballet of prose and insight. Nope, not going to do it. It was merely coincidental tonight's topic involves both politicians and nutcase religious beliefs.
