Dick Cheney was treated today for a blood clot in his leg.  These types of things can be very dangerous.  If they break free they can lead to a stroke or heart attack.

Some heated discussion went down yesterday regarding whether Bill Maher called for Cheney's assasination or if he merely said he didn't mind if Dick died.

Despite much evidence to the contrary, we still live in a polite society. This was most recently evidenced by the comments made by...or rather not made by Anne Coulter. You see, Anne wanted to call John Edwards a faggot, “but it turns out that you have to go into rehab if you use the word ‘faggot.’” I really feel for Ms. Coulter. Polite society has indeed placed unreasonable limits upon her First Amendment Rights. This isn’t the first time Anne’s been attacked for expressing her views.

Can't say much, taking an online class right now, and I've got poker immediately after that. Couple loose ends I think I mentioned but never brought up again. And no, I'm not so deluded that I think most people care:

The Buffalo Wireless router/access points and ethernet converter I ordered are not yet hooked up. I know, I'm a lazy bastard. I did however install the new adapator in my laptop, and it works absolutely perfectly...coulnd't be happier. I'm going to try and get the other stuff hooked up this weekend. MUST GET IT DONE BEFORE HALO 3 BETA!!!

Long day yesterday. Plopped down last night in front of the TV to eat my meager dinner. As I’m munching edamame (don’t ask, wife is out of town) I here the tell-tale guitar line from Nirvana’s Breed. My ears perk up like Scooby-Doo’s when Fred says “pizza.” I started listening to Nirvana the summer of 1991…the one just before my freshman year at Purdue. Later, in the fall Nevermind busted through the charts with the rest of the Seattle scene in hot pursuit. Anyways, I’ve always really dug them. But tonight was a different story.
