Sunday Thoughts

Here it is Sunday morning again and I have more random thoughts....  Oh, that's right.  Supposed to have those on Wednesdays.

I have done a quick search on the internet and found a workshop in Charlotte for learning how to strip!  It's in November.  Now, that's a funny thought.  I saw the pics, could be fun.  I don't know if I'm that limber, tho.........

Weight Lifting

The other day I told a clannie I lift weights and his response was "liar".  Now, knowing this guy, I did not take offense.  But, I DO lift weights and do my share of cardio, too.  This is how it started.....  About 10 years ago I was having really, really bad problems with my right shoulder.  I was having very bad pain and had lost a lot of range of motion.  In other words, if I moved my arm in almost any direction, I got a shot of pain that i didn't want to feel ever again, so I stopped moving it.  I did the research and knew it was my brachial plexus, a bunch of nerves that supply the sho

New England LAN.....?

Lessons in "event planning"

1.  Start at least 6 months ahead of time.....that is definitely not too early.

2.  Have a budget in mind.  Yikes!  Everything is soooooo expensive.

3.  Settle on a date ahead of time, but be flexible.  Another date could be less expensive or more available.

4.  Put lots of feelers out to various meeting places.  And they will all call you back at the same time!

5.  Hotels are simply a place to sleep.  Why do they cost so much??

Early Morning

Here I am again, up before anyone else.  I looked up early morning insomnia.  Ack!  I've had it all my life!  Well, I have been a "light sleeper" all my life.  That stupid rooster that now believes he lives in our back yard doesn't help.  I still think he would make a good Sunday dinner.  Might be a little tough, but.......

Sunday...

Another early Sunday morning.....I luv Sundays!  ATM I am not working Mondays, so that means today and tomorrow to do......whatever!  A plan for a New England LAN is starting to develop.  I would have rather it be closer to home, but, oh well.  I am going!  Not only that, I am helping with the planning, which feels very good.  Well, we have a ways to go before we know for sure what, when, where, and how, but it's fun figuring it all out, anyways.  And, it's in the same time zone as I am, which is a definite plus!
