And now another compelling chapter in the continuing saga of *drum roll*.......Sleepless in Chapel Hill!

I know this is the day after Thanksgiving, but, as I mentioned before, we are having turkey day today.  I have been cooking since yesterday, and I need a break.  Sent hubby on an errand, turned up the tunes, and I'm chilling for a while.  It was a beautiful day yesterday, still nice today but about 15-20 degrees cooler.  That's ok.  As that turkey cooks, I'll be opening the windows, anyways.  Nice to be off today....I almost always work Fridays.

I am thankful for:

My family....especially my 2 grandsons.  My daughter is kinda cool, too

My health....I'm doing pretty well for my age (99 years old)  My medical history is pretty boring, even tho I am getting dusty and creaky

I have to work tomorrow.  Well, I didn't have to, but I was listening to the moaning and groaning about how huge clinic will be cuz of Thanksgiving and all.  When I worked the extra day last week, we had 61+ patients, and I didn't get out until 5:30.  And the last nurse left at 9:00.  Terrible!  So, there will be over 67 patients tomorrow.  I say over cuz there are always walkins.  And walkins are the worst cuz they are always sick.  So, I didn't let them know until late that I would work.  I luv hugs!  I got a hug from just about everybody!  I hope we all still luv each other after the day
