I'm more than happy to sit with you knight if you are finding RWD toug, some very easy tools to pick up to help you deal with it. Refine them and you'll fly, not like fitzy though :)

You speak of "tools" and "refining them" which makes Parcells think these builds are tunable.
Can we tune these builds? if the answer is yes, please confirm and send Parcells the build please.
Wishfull thinking Parcells, Tourni is refering to driving skills not tuning. Tourni I am ok with the 05, just did a couple of laps in both and the 70 was going to take more time than I have to get comfortable with it. With my time now split between Forza and rFactor I just went with the car that I could drive fastest first :-) If we find ourselves online at the same time I will take you up on that though.
Hoping to make it this Sunday. Have an appointment scheduled to have interwebs hooked up at the new house on Friday. The only catch is I may be to tied up in painting (got a friend coming up from Seattle to help) to pull away.
Well after the Fairlady cup, decided that we would have a quick run around the Alps. The outcome was that once again I appear to have selected the wrong Chariot...
However! If we were to change the points system to that closer matching PGR3 I would walk away with it as my drift scores are awsome!
Any chance we can dial out a little of the transition oversteer ahead of Sunday? failing that obligatory pit stops every lap to change the rear tyres...

Fun, Fun, Fun!

What did you pick cyber? - I cant make changes now because people would have been practicing and its goes horrible wrong when you try to re apply SF tunes... Stupid game :D
But if I did that then I would have to shave my chest and deflate my Gentlemens excuse me...
Mr T, The reason I was able to drive it was from using the advice you gave me in the training session! On the Alps the long sweeping bends are upsetting the balance. In RL I would say that the problem is roll oversteer, it needs the rear ARB tightening up or maybe a nats more rear spring a combination of the two. Maybe even a little more rebound as it is unloading the tyres.
The 05 is not a proper Mustang anyway... (please note I am making excuses already, Old racing habits die hard....)
any thoughts on the 70 Stang or is it just my crap driving?
P.
Granted, Parcells only ran 7 or 8 laps a week ago I would say it's a little bit of everything. It's still a Mustang so the handling is never gonna be on rails and of course a muscle like type of crap car requires extreme throttle control where redlining is severely punished so that adds to the difficulty.
Your crap driving certainly isn't helping the situation any and the Alps track sucks really bad for this car too which is why I stopped lapping after only 7-8 laps.
Just took the 70s Mustang for a drive around the Alps, I like it a lot the car really suits this track you can throttle steer round most of the corners granted you need to be smooth to go quick but with a little practice it will get easier.

No doubt the flip and landing was planned but Parcells calls bullshit on the planned mid-air spin, that was just luck.
Congrats on your victories this weekend Fitzy and subsequent gloating. I'm sure Parcells absense from the race had nothing to do with it.
...and hardly a scratch on the Mini. Congrats on the wins mate, looks like you got your mojo back.
I love the little kick i give you
FlyingFitzy, LOL
I bet that paint theme was planned for this!
Okay chose the 05 Mustang as the lesser of two evils. 70 was too tail happy for me, though it did sound nicer.
the 70's one is a little tail happy :)

05 is bit easier to drive but i think is more potential in 70 if You like RWD and challenge.....
I stick to 05 as i'm not good on it at all.
Lads it doesn't matter which 1 you choose they are both tuned by Tourni, what could possibly be wrong with either of them.
I didn't tune the 70's :) hehe
I had already chosen the 70s mustang before the series began, hopefully Pap has done a good job.

I will try it round the alps - I've not driven it round there as it was pap who was driving the 70's :D

What the lap times i can expect on this track ??
Pretty safe bet Bastek you an expect to be + or - two tenths of a second of Parcells. If Iknew what that is I'd let you know. Sorry.
What kind of laps you runnig Fitzy? Spill the beans.
At the moment I'm getting high 2.03s low 2.04s. I haven't run a lot of laps.
70 or 05 Fitzy?
I am not that far behind you then if it is the 70.
Mabe the Gentlemens Excuse me improver has started to work....
