We can push it a week if you want, I've got no problems with that. You're running the show, I'll follow you're lead.....whatever trouble that may lead us into.
do you have clubsport pedals? I change my pressure between GT5 and Forza...but I make it higher pressure in GT5 so that probably dont help your problem
Jump on right at 7 Wheels and we'll do a few laps in this car, see what's bothering you

I'll be on at 7...You R The Man!!...Thanks for the Offer!!
P.S. I do have the Clubsports!...I never once change pressure between the two games.
It appears tonight's car doesn't want tostop Wheels, sorry can't help you . But seriously it really doesn't stop well if barely at all and god forbid you're not going perfectly straight else the car gets away easily, GT5 could do with some brake upgrades for cars like this. You just have to slow down sooner that's what I resorted to LOL.
But setting your brake balance will help significantly. I set my front from 5 to 6 and that worked enough for me so I didn't bother trying 7 but it wouldn't surprise me 7 is even better?
Also changed the below LSD settings which help to stabilize the car...this is all I changed and it feels much better than when originally built. May or may not help you?
torque 12
accell 50
decell 40
All that and the car still doesn't stop well. For what it's worth in GT5 I find myself frequently pumping the brakes to keep the car stable and to make it stop and it's worth repeating, tonight's car does not react well to braking while turning...like bullets in the engine room of a Nuclear Submarine.
See ya at 7'ish...was under 1:17 at Rome with tonight's car, seemed pretty competitive to Parcells

OHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!....If Parcells can't stop...How and the Hell am I?????
P.S. I don't even know how to set the front brakes or the LSD...Now YOU know what kind of Dumb Ass YOU are dealing with!!!
Just added the Aug 16 spec car to the spreadsheet. One week break from the Lotuses after tonight then back to the Elise with a lot of upgrades including aero. Could have easily went with the default comfort soft tyres, sport soft were nice and race soft were even nicer but decided on sport medium tyre.
Thought we would be running the very nice looking Tesla Roadster but that bastards electric and automatic, waste of easy credits there.
Looking to regurgitate the 458 and Clio some time soon (maybe a different build but not required - tyres maybe) but as long as we have new entries we'll go with them...don't make them shitty
That's interesting...I ran it at Grand Valley w/ no issues. It is a mid engine car...so the not liking to turn & brake at the same time is an inherent trait to that layout. It is a street car...full weight and sport (soft) tires, so it's not going to stop on a dime or be totally stuck to the road like a hoover vaccum...
But hardly stopping at all...., that's got me concerned. WTF did I do? Worst case we can always run the "random mix" cars if it's unbarable for everyone.
Gonna have to connect my pedals to the GT2 for the first time in a month too. See ya tonight.
It's possible we could have been embellishing about the not stopping manner but Wheels and Parcells sinking that low? I find that doubtful.
Parcells
You Are Correct!!!!...My Sincere Appreciation for taking time and helping me (Solving My Braking Issues) out. If not for you I would of commanded the rear of the field all night. Thanks!!
P.S. Helios...The Car was Outstanding..Just needed someone (Parcells) who knew what they are doing!!
6 fucken hours last night. WOW!!! To make it even better it seemed the more beer and weed I consumed the better I raced. Some great racing throughout the night but the last hour with the 5 of us, damn that was some tight racing!
Allowed me to determine the maximum battery charge of my blue tooth...5.5 hours, not quite enough.

So sorry I missed that last hour. I got home by about 8:45pm PST, but I assumed, incorrectly it turns out, that you guys were done for the night. I should have doublechecked Parcells lounge. In the future, I will do so. Kids have swim lessons for a few more weeks and so I will be on the same schedule for a while longer.
For what it's worth, I noticed something this week about online setups vs offline setups. I set up the Lotus offline and the handling was extremely erratic under heavy breakting (i.e. turn-1 at Grand Valley) so I took my setup in the opposite direction to tighten it up. It did tighten up the handling, but I lost about 1.5-seconds on each track because the car wasn't turning as fast. I thought about going back to the 'loose' setup, but I didn't want to race with an erratic car, so I stuck with the tight setup.
Come race-time, the car was amazing - amazing because the handling online seemed to have loosened up quite a bit. For example, with the 'tight' setup, I could not get the car to drift on High-speed Ring, but when we went online was able to get a massive slide going into turn-2. Same with other tracks... where the car was tight offline, it became loose online. I think taking setups online loosens up the handling for some reason.
Hey all, I think the car I picked for thisi week, Honda Integra Type R (DC5) RM '04, is from a DLC pack. It must have been one that we bought befor as a group because the only car packs I bought were for our races. It was already in my cars list when I picked it out. Gret car though - really fun to drive!
I wouldn't worry about it Jason, like you said, it probably came with a track pack we all bought some time ago.
FYI...Mark and I are heading to a pool/bbq in twenty minutes. Realistically we wont make it on-line this evening until 7:30, 8:00 at the latest. Unless of course, like Mark put it, if out of nowhere a bunch of really hot babes unexpectantly show up then you guys have a pleasant evening.

Hmm, I won't touch that...
I have kid duty tonight, including swim lessons from 7pm PST to 8pm PST. I will try to jump on by 6pm or so, and will check in after I get back, unlike last week when I missed a bunch of fun.

OHHHH OHHHHH!!!!!!...Me Neither Zero...Sounds like a Maybe Baby???...Quick Decision..See Ya Next Week!!!!!...Hoping the Eagles SPANK the Steelers!!
Parcells watches a shit load of sports and NFL is my favorite (or maybe a tie with F1?) but for the life of me I cannot stand pre-season and haven't watched a pre-season game in years. Completely uselesss as far as I'm concerned but nice to know you're a Philly fan Wheels, you guys always give my Giants a challenge except when it counts of course, like in the playoffs (check out the new smiley's - life is good :))

Reminder to all next weeks car is posted.
Parcells, I will likely miss most or all of tonight's racing, unless you guys are on past 8pm PST. I have a BBQ for work that I will be attending.
Also, I disagree, in part, with you about pre-season NFL football. While the quality of football is overall far lower, there are some watchable parts of games, such as this past Sunday's Andrew Luck debut, and the prior debut of RG III. If you don't know who those guys are, then you are not a real NFL fan. I also note that Monday Night Football's match up of the Raiders and Cowboys was interesting to me, I guess primarily because I am a Raider fan and I was looking forward to seeing the play of Carson Palmer, Matt Leinert and Terrell Pryor. It was also good to see Darren McFadden back in gear for the Raiders. IMO, he is the best RB in the NFL when he is healthy.
My disdain for pre-season NFL comes down to the games are meaningless and only because of that I have no interest. I don't even give a shit about watching my Superbowl Champion NY Giants. But I can see your point of view...Pre-season is the only time you're Raiders have any realistic hope of a good year and yes I know what I'm talking about
Next weeks spec car has been updated guys. The High end Performance G37, courtesy of Dan. The spreadsheet is definitely right but because of it being Dan's car there is often some guesswork involved...
1) I think he may have added an oil change??? I didn't know you could do that with new cars...if anyone's PP is lower than the advertised (the car AS Dan gifted it to me) let me know and I'll adjust/force the room to lower their HP to match.
2) The installed tyres of the gifted car are comfort hard. That seems a tad slippery to Parcells so I emailed Dan to confirm and will let you know if this is wrong (the gifted car has sport soft purchased but not installed)
Only 4 tracks (Dan's choices this time - they're all good) so we'll make them a bit longer races. If you can't purchase the part from the spreadsheet don't worry about it...the car already has it installed

We're going with the Lotus this week guys...lets get the tracks identified before we start racing on Thursday.
We'll go with IndyColts car next week.
Wheels...next two weeks sport and race soft tyres
Tracks updated.....and a little something in there for Parcells.
August 9 car updated guys. It's an 04 Integra Type R courtesy of Jason. ONLY upgrades are race modification and race soft tyres.
