First coat of stain done! I wish I had more to do. It's SO relaxing. Except for the way my hands smell now, from the latex gloves. Ack!! *washing hands for the tenth time*
Morning Statesiders and them as is further north. Busy in Studio going through a years worth of ideas and half done songs looking for insperation...As I am here you can see how that's working out. Ah well kettle on, get some tea in and have at it some more, must be something that rattles my cage there somewhere.
Short work week. Trying to get 4 days worth of work done in 3.....and it ain't going so well. It doesn't help when half the people I need to talk to for status decided to take an extended long weekend.....
She's probably taking a Super Power Nap. Probably turn up, guns a blazing when we least expect it.
Never been able to find the right theme for a car song, all efforts just come out sounding naff, protest I have done, but that is another genera I tend to steer clear of.
Used to do a song that started "There's a bottle on the table that takes the place of you. There's a heart that lies there bleeding, by the door that you walked through"
Man that song was country and western...A real drink song. Only venture into the country genera myself and my songwriting partner of the time ever did.
Heh thanks...Sadly the dude I worked with on that and many other songs over fifteen years died a few years back, miss him terribly to this day. Man we could fight...but never in the studio, in fifteen years not one cross word between us when we were writing or recording.
