Everything I did was from the rear or top, quite easy. I also had a wiring issue that was detected BY the dryer a while back. Turned out We were only getting 110 into the place instead of 220 to the dryer. That one took an electrician, after I figured out what the problem was, he figured out where the problem was...

If I had purchased the previous year's model, I could have accessed everything from the top.  This model, they moved it all to the bottom rear of the machine.  Idiots.

Love the title change...glad to see my domestic issues are a disruptive force to the site.  :)

Huh mine does both...Now if I could just get it to pick up the dirty washing I leave on the floor, wash it, dry it and then fold it and put it away I would have a happy Mrs Knight...

Can we talk about something else please. Parcells had a life changing incident many years ago and ever since I've never been able to visit a large appliance store.

Your one unit does both? Or is it a stack unit?

I couldn't use one unit that did both as I am usually doing two loads at a time...2 adults, 3 18 yr old boys ATM and my wife has a therapeutic massage business so she's doing her sheets daily as well...

laundry is a constant here...

Does both, washes then dries...then sits there doing nothing as if that is all there is to it...what about the ironing and the folding and the putting away?

Hey everyone!

Fixed the stupid dryer.  I have a quarter inch diameter gash on one of my knuckles on my right hand now, but the damn thing can dry now.

That's great, Johnny! We were all on pins and needles and worried sick about your household appliances. I'm glad that everything worked out. Maybe that knuckle injury will turn out to be another exciting adventure!

Oh, don't worry...if it has problems healing, I'll make sure you're the first to know.

You know what sucks...when you get a band aid wet washing your hands.  I hate the feeling of a half wet band aid.

It's been a while since I've rewired anything audio, but shouldn't be too bad as long as you can distinctly tell which wire is which. Let me guess, pet chewed through a headset?

Had a cat chew through a headset for my PC.  It had thinner wires, so fixing it was a bitch.  Got it to work, but always had some sort of feedback hum from there on.

I have an entire graveyard of dead MS Headsets. I could go into the room without a headset, but that would mean depriving everyone in that room the privilege of hearing me speak and I just don't want to disappoint the guys. There's no way I'm disassembling as $12 headset. I could probably accomplish that feat on a technical level, but I'm far too lazy to give a shit and coughing up another twelve bucks seems easier.

I'm about 20-30 minutes away from the nearest Walmart or Best Buy, so I'll often try a fix first, especially if I just find the issue right before gaming.  I have a few extras now, so I don't have to do patch work as often.

What's that I hear?? The sound of my house after company leaves. I swear the entire house sighs lol. Nice and quiet. Aaaaah. Love my family and momentarily cried when I hugged the baby goodbye.....but it's soooooo good to have my house back!

So what'd I miss? I see Johnny got his dryer fixed by making the required blood sacrifice. Anything else??

I think Microsoft uses catnip in their headset insulation.  If I forget to put mine inside the entertainment center, it will be in several pieces the next time I see it.
