ESPN can do whatever the hell they want but they, like most news organizations these days, continually post stories that are not very relevant with missleading headlines that are designed to intrigue people enough that they will click on their article in hopes they will join the conversation where volume means moocho advertisement dollars regardless if the majority of posters are there to mock the dreadful and sensationalized "reporting" we recieve from what used to be our favorite sports site. ESPN is more like TMZ these days.
I think someone selectively decided to ignore the verbiage "and all the trolls" from my previous post.
Mine included fancy pants exams, including retina scans, and a test she does because I have a gouge in my right cornea. And I got new glasses. It would've been more but I chose cheap ass frames that don't fit my little face. I have to go back all the time to have them heat shrunk, because they fall off if I look down or turn my head too fast lol

Is there any way you could fatten up your head, it might be easier. Just a thought.

Still vacating...spent most of yesterday on the bikes with the missus...finally had to outrun a storm home, and then the power went out, apparently everywhere, or so it seemed. We went out shopping and then caught a bite to eat somewhere that had power, and when we got home, the lights were on!
Seriously, some crazy ass flooding here and there, lotta rain. Fortunately we live on a bigg ass hill, and I have the Ark parked in the front yard, just in case...
Eye exam $30 co-pay, percription hasn't changed...therefore I've been wearing the same pair of glasses for the last eight years. I only pay $5,600 for two people for medical insurance per year so I try and go to the Doctor often to get my monies worth.

My prescript changes every year! They blame gaming :p
Standard exams for my family. Actually, the original bill was over 600 because she "won" a contest that gave her "free" driving sunglass lenses which only would have cost - in their words - a few dollars for the frames. Yeah...those winnings were going to cost 150 dollars.
Oh, and if I ever cost 1300 bucks for an eye appointment, I'm just going to say screw it and bump into shit for the rest of my life.

I like the reporting style of TMZ, but I despise the likes of the Kardashians, Miley Cyrus, and Justin Beiber...so I can't stand to watch or read it very often. Nothing against them, but I can't stand the subject matter.
That said, there is no place for it in sports reporting, IMO.
My god you dragged that up from the dark depths of this thread...
Well it's been an interesting few days, couple of days in "The peoples republic of Cork" to see "The Boss" in concert. Great gig and a fine time had, returned and loaded up the car with swords and armour to head to the other end of the country Dunluce Castle to do swordfighting demonstrations...Just back from that and just about drained of energy, feet are blistered, back is feeling like someone is stabbing me with a bread knife and a splitting headache from spending the entire day in the sun. I'm not paid enough for this shit.
Yeah it's not natural I tell you, it's been subtropical for nearly two weeks, great when you are just chilling but a fecking nightmare for high energy displays...
Morning peoples!

Sounds like a perscription for more naps!

Morning all!
ESPN update: It's not good, not at all, no more funny
Ok, Parcells, what did I miss regarding ESPN...other than your correct assertion that it's more like TMZ than a sports channel these days?
I like TMZ...

Yes I did. It is tough keeping up.
I got to watch that sword video at home.
Gotta remember, we're racers. It's only a few seconds before the next corner.
on the other hand, some of us keep going around the same corner...
I still race, just not very often.
I don't believe a word of that!
A whole day IN THE SUN?
Yeah it's not natural I tell you, it's been subtropical for nearly two weeks, great when you are just chilling but a fecking nightmare for high energy displays...
We've had rain for a week straight now due to ytopical storms from down ZK's way pushing the rain up towards us.
Well we have Sun, and to prove it here is my fight partner Hugh and myself clowning around at the weekends event.

Yesterday we watched two scary shows: one was about that bad crash into spectators at Le Mans in '55, and the other was about rally racing in the 80s.
