Sixty-Fourth

Fair Warning - These photos are quite large, and may take a minute to download. I like to think they're worth it tho :-)

First up - the Living Saint, front view - her eyes are actually closed, that's not just me being lazy at painting :-P

Now the Living Saint, Rear View.

I have been bittne by the painting bug again. I've always been a big fan of wargaming, and got into Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 game years ago - my parents bought me the boxed set fo teh 2nd edition for my sixteenth birthday, if I recall correctly.
I was always a bigger fan of painting than I was of the actual gaming, collecting a model here and a unit there, from several different armies. I've mentioned more than once that I ran a wargames club - we played 40K there almost exclusively.

Sixty-Second

Things I must remember to do whilst driving:
  • Slow down at junctions, and not be afraid to stop and drop down to 1st gear
  • Shift up to 2nd gear quicker when driving away from a stop (junction/traffic lights/roundabouts, etc.)
  • Use my fething mirrors
Following these points should hopefully keep me from getting myself and/or my passenger, and help me pass my test.

Sixty-First

Do you ever have the feeling that things are running away from you? That you're just barely hanging on by your fingertips? I'm feeling that way just now. Things seem to be taking a bit of an upswing at the moment - my girlfriend should be moving up to working full-time in her jewellery shop, which means more experience for her, and more money in her pay packet. Of course, being bankrupt that probably just means we'll have to pay more money out to our creditors.

*WARNING - SPELLING MISTAKES LEFT IN THIS POST DELIBARATELY*

I am injured just now, crippled and lame. Well, not lame exactly, but certainly a little disabled. I was making dinner on SAturday night, and sliced my left middle finger open while I was cutiing up potatoes to mash. A very stupid mistake, considering I had sharpened the knife up right before I started, so we had to take a quick trip up to Accidnet & Emergency at the local hospital.
