Quick Tips, XBLA

Soltrio: Grandfather Clock is the easiest game to earn the 100 games won and 1000 games won achievements (use auto-play and fastest animation options). You will always win at the Memory game if you're trying to get through Voyage Mode. Klondike (not easy Klondike) can be beaten, eventually, in a minute with auto-play on. When going for completing achievements, don't worry about your score!

Band of Buggers

Yes, I know the XBLA game from yesterday was "Band of Bugs," but given the HBO series, "Band of Brothers," it makes sense.  It is a fairly vulgar thing to say, so they probably edited the name.  The game is a pretty good TBS.  It certainly eases you into the tougher levels.  I discovered that you can get up to half of all the achievement points, like the 50 frozen water tiles, in conjunction with the custom-edit maps and "skirmish" mode.

AO! AAAO! ESRB Come and Me Wanna Go Home!

I don't have a clue to what Manhunt 2 plays like, but an AO rating it got (preliminary) from ESRB will probably cause Nintendo to pull the license for the Wii.  Thrill Kill, anyone?

Manhunt II NOT Banned in UK

I'm a stickler for details.  The original article in Gamepolitics says that "Citing “unrelenting focus on stalking and brutal slaying,” the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has refused to rate the ultra-violent sequel, effectively banning it from U.K.

PS3's Go! Puzzle

At first, I was play he 3-minute timed demo of Go! Puzzles Swizzle game. Then I tried Aqua, and I was shocked at how completely different it was, and difficult. Then I tried Skyscraper, and again, it was totally different from the other two. It seems that Go! Puzzle is actually a virtual console of some kind or a development kit. Skyscraper is the most original of the three, the most difficult, and it's timed! I recommend trying the demos, because the download of Go! Puzzle is free and you pay for the three puzzles. I bought the trio pack for $6.  It's priced right for me.
