Star Trek Legacy

Star Trek Legacy for my Xbox360 has shipped!  The game was delayed a couple of weeks, so hopefully it's not buggy.  If you're waiting for that game, you may be able to find it now.  I already have "Legacy Lite" called "Star Trek Encounters" (PS2).  I'd swear that STE was part of some level generator for STL.  Encounters is only $15, and it's pretty good.  You cannot skip the cut scenes, though.  Both games are by Bethesda.  Previous Trek games have been really good from Bethesda, so I'm hoping I'm not disappointed by purchase-by-reputation.

Sony Fanboyism?

I have all of the systems now.  Of all of them, PS3 seems like it will shine brightly in a year or so.  But I'm afraid Sony will give it the PSP treatment.  Seriously, folks at Sony, this PS3 is all you have left!  I think it's time to start marketing it as fun instead of so-creepy-your-eyes-will-bleed.  Plus, as noted many times in serious journalism, the PS3 needs fun games!  Being a download portal for PSP is not a selling point when PSP is not that popular.

Ridge Racer 7 (PS3) Is Really Difficult

RR7 on the PS3 has a very high difficulty very early on. I'm still in the class 4 races, but it seems I have to drive perfectly to maintain the lead, and that includes road hogging. There's a better physics engine in RR7, that unfortunately means the opponents can force you off the road. Class 4 is a miserable set of races, anyway, as they're the slowest. It seems the rubber-band AI is on during Gran Prix, but off for Manufacturer Trials.

I Lied, More Zelda, Not the Game, Though

There seems to be this "collector's set" replica of Link's sword and shield with a 6-song soundtrack at Target.  It isn't selling well because it is $40!  It's all plastic and of no better quality than my Voltron.  I like my Voltron, but not $40 worth.  I saw it on "clearance" for $37.  This is marketing gone wrong.

Hopefully, My Last Zelda Post

Despite the boring nature of the beginning of Twilight Princess, everyone has complained about how many hours they put in before the "Twilight Princess" storyline begins.  It actually didn't take me more than a couple.  The fishing contest is dumb, though.  I'm just thankful that you can catch fish without bait and that its not more realistic.
