I'm an Asshole! But I'm a Happy Asshole.

I wake up happy. Unless I feel ill in which case I wake up apprehensive. But, at least I'm willing to give the new day (or afternoon depending on my work schedule) a fighting chance at impressing me. Most of the time, I'm disappointed. But, that's okay too.

I wake up happy becuase in general I'm a happy person. I like me, I love my life. Not because I'm incredibly succesful by measure of modern standards. I don't have a lot of money, a big house, nice cars, addoring fans, or whatever else people try to measure success by.

The Third Amendment to the US Constitution

I know it's been a LONG time since I last posted and I apologize. But, I made a promise.

The Third Amendment to the Constitution of the United States is short but in my opinion is one of the more important amendments ratified with the Bill of Rights. Why you may ask?

“No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law. “

First Amendment

I had not made a blog entry in quite a while for the usual reasons; life, work... that kind of stuff. But, it was probably providence for me that my entry for the First Amendment would occur after this past week.

1st Amendment as listed in the Bill of Rights to the Constitution:

"Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
