It was taught to me as something to be avoided. Journalism, at least professional journalism, was supposed to be the stomping grounds of the objective reporting of information. Agenda based literary creations were for editorial pieces, not for serious journalistic efforts.

Okay, before you think this is going to be someone irrationally bashing someone's choice of a homosexual lifestyle, please stop. I'm not about that and neither is the article.

Maybe it's just me, but I smell a rat.

My wife came across an article about a notification placed by the FBI that a malicious hacker group used malware called "DNSchanger" to hack millions of users to re-direct them to clone websites that had their banner-adds running to allow the hackers to earn millions in add fees.

I love modding...

..Oh, Btw, this is kind of continuation of my previous blog entry...

I've been doing quite a bit of modding lately. Most of the things I like to mod are additions and changes to the base game to make it look better and feel more immersive. The first thing I usually do is change the character skeletons, meshes and textures. I add a few environmental tweaks, things to make the user interfaces friendlier and more efficient, etc.

Holy crap, I have been away a while haven't I?

Sorry bout that. Here's an update of my gaming life. I built a fairly powerful gaming PC and my life hasn't quite been the same.

I kid you not, I spent just south of $900... just to play Fallout...

... I'm just gonna let that sink in a bit....

The Fourth Amendment to "the United States Constitution" as issued in "the Bill of Rights".

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized".

I hadn't intended on blogging this morning. I had forgotten all about the last blog and the promise to revisit the topic. I know, horrible, but it's me.

Anywho, I just happen to pop into 2o2p for a brief scan of the CoD: Black Ops opinions (even though I have the game already) when I decided to remind myself of my blog topics. Tada, here I am.

I wake up happy. Unless I feel ill in which case I wake up apprehensive. But, at least I'm willing to give the new day (or afternoon depending on my work schedule) a fighting chance at impressing me. Most of the time, I'm disappointed. But, that's okay too.

I wake up happy becuase in general I'm a happy person. I like me, I love my life. Not because I'm incredibly succesful by measure of modern standards. I don't have a lot of money, a big house, nice cars, addoring fans, or whatever else people try to measure success by.
