Sorry for the hiatus from this site. I'd like to say that I've been overseas and without the internet doing important things.

But, that would be a huge lie. I've been working my ass off and then lazying around the house playing video games and wishing I was playing some that aren't out yet.

I seem to recall I was doing a Bill of Rights blog walk. I'll get back to it.

Christopher Dorner has literally been all over the news for the past couple of weeks and for good reason.

Obviously you get an idea of what side of this particular debate I'll be leaning towards.

The other night, NBC Sports broadcaster Bob Costas made statements in support of gun control that then sparked a lot of responses in agreement and disagreement. He then went on MSNBC (there's a fair minded network) to clarify what he "meant" to say. In other words somebody reminded him that more pro-gun advocates watch football than pro-gun-control advocates and that his soup was going to get cold.

Is there anything better than bacon and eggs for breakfast? Some would say, "yes". They would be on the right track to being right.

However, some of these people would be thinking, "Well, of course there's something better for you than... blkahbalchblachblahblahblahblah....."

Shut up, just shut up. Nobody wants your granola breath fucking up the morning most of us didn't want to wake up for in the first place. Just take your hippy ass over in the corner of a field and graze somewhere.

Yeah, I know, I complain a lot. Sometimes it could probably be said that if the world were coming to an end I'd be climbing onto the roof to get a really good view of it. But, this blog isn't about hating humanity, it's about... home improvement.

It seems more and more people allow themselves to get caught up in phrases that allow them to exploit convenient excuses.

"It's not fair".

Used to point out the obvious and to also make up for the speakers inadequacies. "It's not fair", no shit. Really? Just figure that out did you? Good, now maybe you can overcome that lump of shit in your head and start making something of yourself...

... but probably not.

While looking through the variety of mods available on the Skyrim Nexus I came across a mod that was interesting.

Not interesting because I thought it added anything to the game but for what the mod author tried to do (even if it was fairly irrelevant due to the game in question).

Okay, I'm going to geek out a bit.

It was inevitable really. Sooner or later I have to right something about firearms.

I game on multiple platforms like most of us. I know very few devoted gamers that have only one system that they are dedicated to. Sure, most of us have a favored system for one reason or another. Until about 6 months ago my favored system was the Xbox 360 primarily for it's ease of use socially. Now of course, I spend the majority of my time on my PC mostly because I've started gaming with my brother online and he's a PC gamer down to his core.

And then there's my Playstation 3, I love it so. Of course I would love it a lot more if there could be a few changes.
