So I had my first family Christmas.  Yes I have had family Christmas before, but never as a dad.  My bro was kind enough to snap a shot of my new family.

So Sunday Night I get to leave.  We have had a ton of problems with this whole adoption.  Here are some the highlights:

1. Ordered Visa's to Russia On Tuesday Afternoon.  Told them we needed to Land on the 27th and be home on 12/18.

Problem: The agency had  us leave a day early...our passports won't let us into Russia.  When we get to the Airport tomorrow, if they can't put us on a later flight we might have to stay a day or so in Warsaw airport waiting for a new flight into Moscow.

2. You need to bring a boat load of Brand New Cash.

So it has been a month since I actually posted anything.  It has been because I have not had much chance to play games recently.

The biggest news is we are in the final stages of adoption.  We are adopting a 6 year old Russian boy.  My wife has been the sort of historian of the whole event on her blog at http://tracy.homerlane.com/labels/Adoption.html

I am back to Final Fantasy XII.  I was stuck in a part for a few months and I finally started getting the story going again.  FFXII has some of the nicest graphics and sound I have ever experienced in a video game.  The voice acting is great, as is the character design.  I don't have a ps3 game that is as nice as this game is.  I love the combat system.  I hope that system gets kept in the next game.
