Are you ready for some football?

I'm so happy that football season starts today.  For the next 17 weeks I can feel completely justified lying on the couch for 4-7 hours on Sunday.  On a pretty much unrelated note, I hope to finish Bioshock tonight.  I think I have about 3 hours of gameplay left.  So, when all is said and done at the end of today, I should have left a pretty good ass dent in my couch.

This drawing is not one of my favorites, also done while watching an episode of The Imagination Station, but it's the last of my underwater drawings and it made sense to finish out the theme.

Blades of Glory

I watched Blades of Glory last night and thought it was amusing, but definitely not hilarious. However, seeing Jenna Fischer like this made it well worth the price of admission.

This underwater drawing I did while watching an episode of The Imagination Station, rather that during one of Mark's classes.

Unwanted blog guests

I promised I'd blog a couple of times today -- mainly because I've had a couple of blog related thoughts swirling in my head that I'd like to get some other folks' perspective on.

Serial bloggers

Generally, I try to only blog once per day.  From my perspective, most of us blog to share a bit of ourselves within this gaming community and I don't know that any of our blogs get hit much once they fall out of the most recent seven.  Now, I'm not saying that there isn't a reason for multiple blogs in one day.  If I were to blog in the morning and I felt there was something I absolutely had to share with 2o2p later in the day, I'd blog it.  I expect other people do the same.  And I know some people have what I'd call "regularly scheduled programming" that you expect to see daily and then

I'll admit, I never finished Halo 2

I forget what life event (or other game) came along and interrupted my single player in Halo 2, but I never got back to it.  I still have the game and I'm wondering how important it is for me to finish it before starting Halo 3.  I understand it's fairly brief and the game ends rather abruptly.  Do I need to add Halo 2 to the list of games to hammer through before I play Halo 3?

Continuing with this week's underwater theme, here's my cartoon take on those fish that have the little light they dangle in front of them to attact other fish to eat.

Hammering through games

With less than 3 weeks until Halo 3 (and CoD4 soon after), I feel obligated to finish a few games quickly or I know I'll never get to them.  Bioshock shouldn't be a problem to blast through.  I promised my son we would work on Zelda: Windwaker at least 30 minutes a day until we finish it.  And, Marvel Ultimate Alliance has been languishing on my game shelf for quite a while.  I think I'm only a couple of hours away from finishing that.  The problem with MUA is that I'm just not finding it as fun as the X-Men games, and it has the most reading of any game next to Super Paper Mario, which my
