Alots been going on. Alot to update...so I'll get started.

Last week at Julias house was half good/half bad. Good because I got to be with her all week. Bad because we were both sick, she smoked alot and the house was messy. She had a hard time sleeping all week as well, so we didnt get to share a bed much. Other than that, it was good.

Dammit. I'm sick again. I think Im gonna need to stay away from my girlfriend after this week. Anytime she gets sick I seem to catch it. And I'm supposed to be the one with the healthy immune system. Lol...yeah right.

I'm coughing up dark green junk and feel a little achey. Sore throat...that kinda thing. Took NyQuil last night and that really helped me sleep. Took some DayQuil this morning so hopefully I'll make it through the day allright.

Well...its Monday. The day I dread every week. Because at a print shop, Mondays are especially busy because all of the assholes that didn't bring their stuff in on Friday feel the need to dump it all in on Monday...and then expect their stuff to be done by Wednesday. I don't remember "miracle workers" being on the sign anywhere.

Managed to work on my project over the weekend.

And I'm happy to say the guts are about 95% ready. Just a little tweak with the controller configurations once I build the joysticks and its ready to go.

The system boots right into the frontend software I have installed and you don't see any hint of Windows at all. Even if the program crashes Windows remains hidden. I love it.

Got my new parts in last night, got them hooked up and they powered up just fine. Now just gotta get Win98 installed and I should have the guts configured by the time I go to bed tonight.

Shouldn't take too long. Going to buy the wood & supplies for the case probably tomorrow after work since its a half-day. Then start construction over the weekend. With a little luck I'll have something presentable by next week.

I'll take pictures through the construction process and post them as I go.
