Public service

As a continuing service to my fellow 2o2p members (why is it every time I type or see 2o2p, urinary tract problems come to mind?), I will scour the universe ,or at least the net, in search of upcoming cinematic features that may or may not seem to be something you might find worth a looksee.

Now normally I'm not a Ben Stiller fan. There's just something about his on screen appearances that seems to grate on my nerves. But I watched this trailer and I'll be damned if it doesn't look like it might just be hilarious.

Proud new owner

Yes, I am now the proud owner of a 360. Transferred my Live account over and am ready to rock. And I will now proceed to disappear into the world of Oblivion. If I am not back in a couple of months please send in a rescue dog with a BIG keg of beer and some Slim Jims or some other form of chemical laden, dehydrated, never gonna spoil in a thousand years type food item. And some pron mags. Maybe more beer.

GEOGRAPHY OF WOMEN

Between 18 and 22, a woman is like Africa,

half discovered, half wild, naturally beautiful with fertile soil.

Between 23 and 30, a woman is like America,

well developed and open to trade, especially

    for someone with cash.

Between 31 and 35, a woman is like India, very hot,

relaxed and convinced of her own beauty.

Between 36 and 40, a woman is like France,

gently aging but still warm and a desirable place to visit.

Shiny moments

Every now and then a moment in time occurs that makes you step back, take it all in, and then think to yourself, "Wow, this is so cool". I had one of those moments this past Sunday evening. I was on Live playing H2 with my fellow 2o2pr's, enjoying the extra night of gaming ( working nights really sucks during the week), happily running around getting sniped by Bluestar and being constantly nailed from behind by Phreaks(ya I know I could have worded that better but hey, whaddya gonna do?).

Lifelong loves

Most children have a list of things they love to do. Fun stuff that makes being a kid the best thing in the world to be. And as we cross that invisible line into adulthood these loves suddenly seem silly and , well, childish. We fold them up neatly, pack them carefully into a big box and quietly store them away in a dusty closet somewhere in a far corner of our memories. Sometimes, however, there's that one thing that we keep with us. Something so near and dear to our hearts that we could care less what the rest of the world thinks about it.

Next time...

When I said that next time there would be a rant, I wasn't planning on it being this soon. But I went out to pick up a few things at the grocery store and I was inspired.

And we're off...

Long time reader, first time blogger.

Ok I don't really have all that much to say at present but I thought I'd introduce you to the two most important things in my life. My kids.

This picture is from '97 overlooking my mother's hometown:
