My 4-year-old son was with me over the weekend when I picked up Battlefield 3. There is a picture of a helicopter on the back cover, which caught his attention. All he talked about the rest of the day is "I want to play the helicopter game!".

I was really, really hoping for Vice City but I still immensely enjoyed Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas anyway. The next chapter was revealed today and it looks like they did a really amazing job re-creating Los Angeles.

The big thing to talk about this weekend (at least in the northeastern US) is the snow. Here's my back yard before/after, from Friday morning and this morning:

1. Why is it that NASCAR is typically associated with rednecks and white trash? There are a ton of people who play Forza, which is essentially the same thing, but the moment you say you're going to a NASCAR event people automatically assume you're fucking your sister?

I shot back down to Worcester, MA this morning with all my video gear in tow. I met up with Waterborn at around 11:30 so we could start shooting more video for the Pop Culture Series project that we started a year ago, but has been stagnant since.

If you already saw Waterborn's blog, you know about Rock and Shock. It's an annual festival in Worcester, MA where vendors, rock bands (this year was Insane Clown Posse) and actors from horror films get together with thousands of fans to celebrate the horror film genre. I was there last year and it even spawned the 2old2play Pop Culture Series, when Waterborn interviewed the lead singer of the Murderdolls.
