Wow, loooong drive.  We drove 11 1/2 hours to get to Indianapolis (is that spelled right?) and arrived just in time to meet Dave and find out we had a whole 10 mins to get ready to go eat.  Dinner at Maggiano's AGAIN!!!!!  It was wonderful, I met Dave and Sally, and gained another couple of pounds.  This is getting really, really bad.  I either have to lose 10 lbs very fast, or buy some new clothes.  Ack!  Nothing fits!  Buying new clothes is fun, I think I'll go that route.

We arrived in Ocean City, Maryland yesterday to meet up with more of the man's Italian family.  These are some of the "New York Italians" I was warned about.  Before we left I was asked if I was ready for New York yet, and I just said, I guess I am ready for anything.  I love Italians!  They have wonderful food.  They know how to party, and when to stop.  I was done in by 10:00 after a verrrry long walk (2 hours) on the boardwalk, a wonderful home cooked meal of linguini with clam sauce (and loads of fresh cooked clams in the shells), caprese salad, wine and more wine, and Texas hold 'em, w

Today is the first day of the rest of my new life.  I have been worn ragged with stress + manual labor for the last few days, but this morning I woke up in Williamsburg, VA, next to my man.  Backing up a bit.....  Sunday Gerry helped me pack up some of the apartment, and he took it back with him.  Whew, tired already.  Monday, I went to the house and tore into it.  Wow, so much stuff.  So much being donated to Goodwill!  or something.  Disabled Veterans will come pick it up.  That put a light in stbx's eye.  The less he has to do, the better.  Tuesday and Wednesday morning, more packing the

I sent the man off to work this morning at his usual time. Oh yeh, I am in Williamsburg, just haven't officially moved here yet. So, I thought I would start looking around at the size of rooms, what we need to furnish, and where everything will go. Yikes!!!!! I started opening closets and looking around in what I thought were empty spaces. Oh man, have I got my work cut out for me. Stuff crammed everywhere, out of site. Here I thought he didn't have much "stuff". Well, I have some time before I start my new job, so I know what I will be doing.
