I accepted a job offer last week for a very interesting position in Newport News. I will start at 1/2 time and go to full time as soon as it is approved. Woohoo! It is very different than what I have been doing, that is, slinging chemo. I will be working in an infusion pharmacy. My responsibilities will includeteaching nurses and pharmacists about how to do home infusion, what is required (knowledge and equipment), and serve as a resource for the entire staff for information on anything having to do with infusions of any kind.

I have had a tentative job offer, pending references and the usual stuff.  It's a whole new thing for me, although everything about the job I have done small scale at one time or another in my life.  It is part-time and will grow to full time when my boss can convince the powers that be that she needs full time help.  Let it be said that I will not longer be a chemo slinger, but a more autonomos, decision making, leadership type of person.  Yay!  Have I finally made it?  The job is not actually mine yet, but I am quite certain that if the person that will be my boss drove 20 miles to buy me

I was at a torture chamber yesterday afternoon.  I was reluctant to go, knowing the pain that would be inflicted upon me.  But, I went.....  Yes, to the Dentist!  My last cleaning he found two little cavities.  No problem, he said.  He can do both at the same time.  One on each side!  Well, do you want to come twice?  NO!  So, yesterday was the day.

My gsons are growing up.  Shayde graduates from high school next month.  My Littlest Booboo is almost 8 YEARS OLD!!!!  They miss me and want to spend more time with me.  So, last weekend my man and I went to the game, out to dinner, and on Sunday a movie as well.  We saw How to Train a Dragon.  It was sooooo cute.  And now my man is accepted as part of the family and is "so nice".  I have pictures!

I have been travelling back and forth to Virginia a lot.  I-85 will be the death of me, for sure.  A few months ago, it was the accident that just about did me in with all the "stuff" I had to do, including appearing in court on a workday in order to get a bogus ticket dismissed.  That whole mess wasn't settled completely for months.  I finally got the final inspection done on my car and am free and clear.  Now, stuff just keeps on coming....
