The interview went extremely well.  It looks like I will be moving to Virginia, working in Suffolk.  Well, I haven't been offered the job yet, but I know they have called at least one of my references, and the person I interviewed with said she would call me by the end of the week.  To tell ya the truth, I have applied for so many jobs, I wasn't sure even which one this was.  But, it is a moot point, cuz it is an altogether new job.  They are combining 2 offices to make one big one, and they need someone to be the stable person that is there every day, knows the patients, and knows the job.

Spring is finally here and along with it is pollen, lots and lots of pollen, especially the pine pollen that turns everything yellowish-green.  Until it rained a couple nights ago, my car had such a thick coating on it you couldn't tell it was black.  I was feeling a bit under the weather, not really sick, but stuffy and just yucky.  Coincidentally, I had my yearly physical about that time and when she examined my throat and nasal passages, her response was Claritin and Flonase.  I was very red and swollen (I knew that) and apparently having a severe case of seasonal allergies.  More drugs

My daughter wanted to do something for my birthday.  Yeh, I know, that was last week.  But, I was out of town, so we are doing a belated b-day steaks on the grill thingee Saturday.  And, my man is invited.  w00t!  This is the first time they will all meet, my daughter, son-in-law, and 2 gsons.  It will be soooo good, I just know it!

So, I spent my long birthday weekend being pampered to the max.  I got a pre-birthday gift, a couple of birthday gifts, a going to bed on birthday gift, and morning after birthday gift, and the actual birday gift.....a DROID!!!!!  Very nice.  I used the GPS nav to get me home last night.  I luv that!!  No more getting lost.  Oh, I was taken out to dinnner and sung to 3 different times.  The one where I had to climb onto a saddle and be "yee-ha'd" just about did me in.  And each time I turned so red I thought I would die.  But secretly, blushing and objections aside, it was lovely and though

Tomorrow is my birthday!  Yay, me!  No, you don't need to know how old I am, just old as the hills and soooooo young at heart.  I am in Virginia with my man and have already gotten cute gifts and happy birthday ballons in strategic places.  Open a door, whoa!  Happy Birthday to me!  Nice and fun.
