Things just don't move as fast as one would like.  I am sitting at home having a nice vacation and JOBLESS!  I have had an offer, but details need to be worked out.  Why does it take so long????  It's a nice vacation, but let's get our act together, ok?  And, apartment hunting?  Ack!  Wears me out, and they all start to look the same.  I have decided we will be living out of boxes, anyways, cuz the plan is to move to Florida after we are both retired.  The bad part is, the plan seems to change every few minutes.  And, do I really need to work if it causes me this much STRESS?  Dunno about t

If life doesn't have it's twists and turns.  At least, my life does.  There is even more to my continuing saga.  If you believe in fate, or even God, listen to this.  We belong to a "kinship" in LOTRO (Lord of the Rings Online) that is based on being a good christian and even has prayer meetings every Friday night at the Kinship House.  Yeh, it seems like it is for real, everyone sitting around and talking on vent.  Well, I was resistant, of course, for personal reasons that we won't go into here.  I played with the others, but would not join the kiinship.  I finally did, with a promise fro

I got my papers yesterday.  Yeh, the divorce papers making the official date 9/24/10.  Getting those papers in the mail is a good, yet bad, feeling.  Yes, I needed this.  But, that was, um, 20+++ years that is now just a memory.  But, freedom?  Yay me!  And what will I do with it?  Stay single, that's what!  Yes, I am in a committed relationship.  And I like being there.  He is the forever young kinda guy I needed so much.  Where do I go from here??  Well, the Virgin Islands, of course.

cut my kitty's toenails?  Ahem.  See how we humanize our pets?  I know she has CLAWs, cauz I feel how sharp they are from time to time.  A little history......  I got her from a rescue organization, and don't really know a lot about how she was treated before they found her.  I do know that she was very, very frightened at first and ran from every noise or any attempt at affection, including being picked up and petted.  Well, that has changed tremendously and she now likes to sleep on my chest, purring in my ear and licking my nose.  Blah.  She gives Gerry some kitty luv, too, but I am hers
