My man's back surgery is July 11.  We are scared, of course.  But, we tried everything and went thru all the steps demanded by insurance, job, etc.  He started with his PCP, who did xrays and found some problems.  Prescribed some Naprosyn for an anti-inflammatory.  I truly believe doctors say it is inflammation when they have no idea what it really is.  That didn't help, so onward to MRI.  Ahhhh, he DOES have real problems that are not necessarily "inflammation".  Referred to an orthopedist.  Change in anti-inflammatory, including something akin to prednisone, without any good results.  He

We are all human and make mistakes, right?  Nurses are not allowed, and neither are doctors.  When it involves a person's health, or even their life, we are not allowed to be human any more, but must be perfect.  In a sense, I agree with that.  I would not want to be responsible for something awful happening to someone simply because I was a human being that made a mistake.  But, as we know from listening to the news and such, that errors are made.  Not good.

I am soooo settled in to Virginia.  My man and I have bought a house together, not even 6 months ago.  We still have one to sell.....maybe rent.  So, we own 2 houses.  I have a job that drives me crazy, but pays well.  And, now what?  One of my co-workers from my old job in NC just emailed me practically begging me to come back.  They have had 6 people leave for various reasons, and times are really hard.  The job is posted, so I could apply at any time.  I am sure I would get hired cuz old employees have priority, and I have all that experience.  BUT!!!!!   It would mean uprooting my curre

Oh, it's my turn now!  I actually got my man to play some Magic last night.  He is very much the noob, but seems to have a knack for it.  I have gotten bored with the MMOs for now.  Well, a little bit.  My Xbox is very, very dusty, and my PS3 is a nice blue ray player.  But, Magic is still my game, even tho I suck at it.  Oh yeh.  I finally gave my old PS2 to my gson.  Too many consoles, not enuf time.
