Ahhhh, the place is shaping up. There are still boxes to empty, but they are getting less and less. Now, if I wasn't sick, it would be a lot easier. Yeh. It's been over a week now. My symptoms started in my throat, and have moved all over the place including coughing, sinus infection, headache, nausea and other unmentionable GI symptoms. I am sick to death of being sick.

Today is moving day. Are we ready? Of course not! I worked all weekend and the man got some stuff separated out for the movers, but, the house is still just as is, so to speak, and he has to work today. I worked the weekend and came down with some virus in the process, which I have to fully ignore. Too much to do. I have a bunch of empty boxes. Gotta fill those up, and the movers are due to arrive in the next hour. Sigh. He got the garage ready to go. Yay! You men know what a job that is!!

We closed on the house yesterday! Yay! Now, once again my schedule has been changed at the last minute. I am starting to get a bit annoyed with the control they have over my life. I have to work until 11:30 Saturday night, then double back and work days Sunday. Now, we haven't moved into the new house yet, so the chances of my even getting 6 hours sleep are slim to none. I am still driving 1 1/2 hours to and from work. Does anyone care???? NOT!!! Done with that..... grrrrrrr

I was just getting used to the looooong commute and, wtf? A Winter Snow Storm? Not just a snow storm, but Blizzard Conditions? In Virginia????? Virginia is a cursed state. Well, at least since I have lived in it, it is. The cops are just plain mean. I have that information directly from a North Carolina cop that had a run-in with a Virginian. It wasn't pretty. And, tickets.......well, there is ALWAYS someone pulled over on my way to and from work. ALWAYS!!!!! And the weather.....Snow!!!!! 12 inches of snow in Norfolk.
