Why is perception of one self always incorrect?

You know you've done it, someone's said something that they see in you and you dissmiss it because you either don't see it or don't believe it's a problem?

Why is it so easy to do to yourself? Could those comments be made in the hopes to help everything around you, your life your personality, your situation?

Why disregard something that only makes your life better? I need to clean the house more, do some laundry here and there, that would just help out overall right?

2Old4Tactics Rap...

Ok, I actually was listening to the Beastie Boys "Paul Revere" and thought of these lyrics. Back when I first got on Live, I was playing Halo 2 with a bunch of friends and had my iMac playing music in the background. The song: "Posse on Broadway" came on and I actually started free form rapping about killing people in game. This lasted all thru out the round, and when we got to the post-round lobby my friends couldn't stop laughing. They watched as my rap flowed with a killing spree that helped us win by a landslide.

And in the strangest of ways.

Last week my work turned into sludge, crap, and floating turds abound. I've done a lot at work to get things back on track. I still have some stuff to do to get work back where it needs to be. I think that part of what has been bothering me is that the company I have worked for 2+ years now has grown so fast in terms of number of stores across the country that it has had time to do little else. And that's the way it went until yesterday, they announced the opening of a field managers' position, and that they were taking applications for the position.

OK, the last few days...

As you know my inspection went pretty bad, before that I was considering moving on anyway. Well, my "contract" was that I had 20 days to fix what was wrong in my store. My fat ass boss claimed he was so embarrased that I had 10 days to get it all fixed. Needless to say I damn near decked him, see, you should know he's only been my boss for about 7 months now. Before that, I had a boss that didn't care about what I did at all, I liked him about as much. But I digress, my current boss has made a lot of changes that have helped the store make money (or lose less of it).

Well I got my inspection over with at work

And I got my ass reamed so hard a juice machine made a comment that he'd never seen something that bad...
