I've been rather bummed lately, had to make changes at work that have caused my work days to be longer and more difficult. All the crap that comes with that and how it can affect your mood. But last night I got a happy surprise, my roommate knows how difficult the last few weeks has been on me. She bought me a copy of BF3 after I had to drop my pre-order to pay bills. Thank you Mel, I really appreciate it, I dedicated my first knife kill in your honor last night....  

Thiswas a school project for my daughter and she wanted me to post it here.

So I was out riding my bike because I was frustrated and needed to clear my head. While going down a hill I was back braking to slow down and make a turn in the sidewalk. I went to tap my front brakes and they lock up on me. I take a nice tumble and now my shoulder and knee are banged up pretty bad, but still usable. The knee was badly scraped and now I have a maxi-pad on it to absorb the blood ( I know you're snickering). I had my friend pick me up after realizing I was ok and so was my bike. On the way home I asked him to stop by and let me pick up some injury beers (Rahr & Sons)

 Back at Christmas, my kids (thought I think my mom paid for most of it) bought me a Mongoose 29er from Wal-mart. Pretty crappy bike, but it got me back on wheels. I hadn't ridden since I was a teen. But I found a spark of enjoyment in it. Since then ( and a big IRS refund) I bought myself a big Marin 29er a beautiful shade of metallic orange. It was purchased on March 2nd. So far I've logged about 45 miles in 3 days, today I logged the bulk of it, I rode pretty close to 30 miles. For those of you in the D/FW area. It was from Lewisville to Southlake and back.

Ok, so it's been 2- 2 1/2 years since I FILED for divorce, she still hasn't bloody signed te paperwork. Can I find a way to push the divorce thru anyways?

Well yesterday he broke his arm, on a skateboard... Big surprise there right.? He walked home 4 houses down to tell us. Went to the ER and had it braced. Both bones in the forearm broken. Clean breaks and no wrist damage, though while being doped up for pain on 2mg of Morphine. While they were setting it he complained about being hungry. Not about being in pain... While I feel for him, I found it really hard not to laugh... Tough little kids that he is...
