Forty-Fourth

So, last night I told my guild that I'd be unavailable for a while due to getting Otis - I mentioned that was our new cat's name, didn't I?

Anyway, there wasn't too much of a reaction from the guild, but that's pretty much what I expected - I'm hardly an integral part of the community, not being an active raider yet. I won't lie and deny that I wouldn't have been tickled pink if people were lineing up to beg me to stay, but I'm not deluded enough to have been expecting it, so no harm done.

Forty-Third

We're in love.

We popped into our local Cat Protection League yesterday, to see what we could see. We wanted to be very specific about the kind of cat we would be able to take; male, still quite young (but not a kitten), and not a big bruiser. The reason for this are simple; it's easier to introduce a cat of the opposite sex, and the younger and smaller the new cat is, the less threatened the existing cat is likely to be. Personality was obviously going to be important as well, there would be no point in us agreeing to take a cat that's highly strung and/or unsociable.

Forty-Second

A short one this time. As I was drifting off to sleep last night, after a Shadow Labyrinth run which ended with my Hallowed Pauldrons dropping, for some reason I found myself thinking about leveling up a new character. I wasn't actually considering starting a new 'toon' you understand, it was simply the mechanics of the process that I was mulling over. Something you see a lot is discussion regarding which is best for leveling - grinding or questing.

Forty-First

It's been a fairly slow day today, so I have had to find amusment in the tubes of the Internet. It has proven to be as easy as it usually is.

Fortieth

I am angry with my father today.

After much to-ing, fro-ing, discussion and explanations, he agreed on Saturday afternoon that we would bring their cat Tigger over to our house next weekend. The agreement was that I would make an appointment for him at the vet yesterday afternoon, and we would take him there for a checkup and immunisation.
