My MP gaming these days is PS3 only and I have very few PS3 friends.  I would like that to change but I am having a hard time finding people that play their PS3 regularly and enjoy getting together on PS3 MP games (ie Resistance 2, Killzone 2 and Socom).  I did some poking around on the forums and it looks like 2old2Resist is the place to be for PS3 gamers.  The only problem is, the forum is only open to clan members.  I completely understand why that is.  So what is the best way for someone like myself (a mature, easy going, laid back and respectful gamer) to go about knocking on the door

I recently got an email from Xbox Live informing me that my Live membership will expire in a few days and that I should renew so that my service won't be interrupted. My reaction was "Screw you Billy! You aren't getting my money. The service isn't worth it." Let me explain how it all came to this.

It was a year ago today that I felt the greatest pain I have ever known.  That is the pain of tragically loosing my older brother at the young age of 30.  When I found out, I was absolutely shook to the very core of my being.  A piece of my heart was torn out and permanently removed with his passing.  Growing up my brother and I were very close.  As adults in our 20s we were even closer.  We lived together as adults and even when I did move out with my wife, I only moved 1 block away from him.  I couldn't have asked for anything more in a big brother as a child.  He was the type of child/br

As we get to the end of the heavy release period of the calendar, we finally have a chance to breath.  The last month had some of the most anticipated games of 2008 finally land on retail shelves.  Much like this time last year, I am left with quite a few new games and not nearly enough time to play them.  Recently I have picked up Socom: Confrontation, Resistance 2, Fallout 3, Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead and COD World at War.  That is far more than enough to keep me busy.  I am finding it more difficult to join up with the same large regular group of gamers as everyone is off enjoying thei

That is why I am glad I rented The Club.  It was exactly what I expected.  Fun but only for a little while.  I would have kept The Club for a few more days except I couldn't find a single ranked MP match to join.  Yikes!  With my new online rental service I am allowed 2 games out at a time.  The other game that is keeping my busy is Mercs 2.  I am enjoying this and will probably hang on to it for another week.  It has a lot of glitches but that can be masked most of the time by blowing stuff up.  The next game on my list is GH:  Aerosmith.  I don't know if I will actually get this one sent
