Mass Effect Ends and Rock Band Begins

Well it took nearly 40 hours to look under every rock in the Mass Efffect universe but every minute was worth it.  This was my first RPG and I really did enjoy it.  It took a bit of time to get the hang on the combat system.  I liked how you were able to customize all the characters and upgrade any aspect of their combat arsenal.  I followed the paragon path for this playthrough and will most likely choose the renegade conversation tree for the second playthrough.  The size of the Mass Effect universe allowed me to overlook some of the technical glitches present inside the game.  Overall I

Game Setup Upgrade + Mass Effect Beginning

Before I started Mass Effect this weekend I was fortunate enough to find a great sale and upgrade my game setup.  I am now the proud owner of a 46 inch LCD Sony Bravia TV with an 850 W 5.1 surround sound system.  It is hard to describe my first few hours of playing games in HD.  The view is absolutely gorgeous.  Mass Effect looks great in HD.  My first hour of playing Mass Effect was really enjoyable thus far.  I like the flow of the RPG style and the dialogue is captivating.  So far, so GREAT.  I look forward to rediscovering all my games in HD.

End Assassin's, Begin Mass Effect

Tonight I should get throught the last assassination in AC which means it is finally time to jump into Mass Effect.  ME has been patiently waiting for my loving attention since release because I couldn't choose between AC and ME so I opted for both LOL.  This will be my first RPG and from what I have read so far I'm excited to get it started.  My fiance is busy doing stuff for our wedding that I'm not involved in so I will have all Saturday to get started on this intergalactic soap opera.  I hope it is as good as everyone says it is.

My Fiance and Video Games

First off I have to say that I have the greatest Fiance in the world and every day with her makes me feel like I have hit the jackpot.  She is everything you could ever ask for in a woman and life partner (drop deap gorgeous, funny, intelligent, motivated, honourable, kind......the list goes on and on).  On top of all that she lets me play my 360 and doesn't give me a hard time about it.  Unfortunately gaming isn't something that we enjoy together.  The large majority of my games are 1st and 3rd person shooter games (COD4, Halo 3, GOW, GRAW2, The Orange Box etc.).  My fiance doesn't play these

Assassin's Creed: The First Two Assassinations

Well the title explains where I am at with this game.  I have spent a fair amount of time exploring the cities and seeing just what Atair is capable of.    So far I am really enjoying this game.  Navigating Altair along the rooftops and streets is extremely fun.  I have read quite a bit of mixed reviews with people either loving or hating this game.  I can see how people might find the action a bit repetative but there is a good story being laid out to break up the manotany.  The "other" missions and objectives (pickpoket, eavesdrop, interigation) offer a good change of p
