I turned off the A/C, ran fans on high, put a container under the leak, and cleaned up the rest of the water. Shortly thereafter the maintenance man arrived. Unfortunately it was the guy who stares freely at my breasts. Equally unfortunately was that I was wearing a shirt that was rather more lewd than I orginally thought. There's nothing wrong with the shirt, I could wear it in public, it's just under his gaze it felt obscene. Ick! I'm going to go have a shower and wash his eyesight off me.

Aaaaaannnnnnddddd it's another round with Maintenance. In today's match we have The Apartment A/C Unit in one corner, and the Frustrated Tenant in the other. However this is no ordinary fight, this one involves Weekend Maintanence! Today's fight will be a battle of the wits and stamina... who can hold out longest against the others?

Continuing the story of the friend whom I picked up at the airport...

I'm not a stupid or weak person but sometimes I do stupid things in moments of weakness. I think what I did yesterday was a good idea (banishing the rest of my Vancouver things into a box in storage) but how I handled it was poor. I seem to upset people in my life far too easily, and of course unintentionally. But I do want to say a couple things here to make me feel like something good may come of yesterday's events.

So my friend has asked me to pick her up from the airport tomorrow... she's been pretty vague about this kinda thing in the past. Here's basically the conversation I had with her yesterday, while she is in Hungary.

Me: What time does your flight come in?

Her: I don't know, afternoon sometime.

Me: Ok, what airline are you on?

Her: Malay, but I think it's operated by someone else.

Me: Hm. Do you know what terminal you will arrive at?

Her: No.

So my friend has asked me to pick her up from the airport tomorrow... she's been pretty vague about this kinda thing in the past. Here's basically the conversation I had with her yesterday, while she is in Hungary.

Ok just start laughing now because it'll happen eventually. I am not exactly new to grilling outdoors, I'm just hesitant to do it because using the propane makes me exceptionally nervous. You should have seen what I put Matt through when we went shopping for grills last month. I now have a small tabletop gas grill that uses 1 litre propane cannisters, at least I think it's propane. Anyway, one bottle ran out as I was warming up the grill, so I shut off the supply, changed cannisters, and lit it back up again.
