I finally made it to a San Diego Comic-Con.  I think this is the only one I'll go to though.  While it was a fun time, and I definitely enjoyed the opportunity to go and see the spectacle, it just doesn't work for me.  The crowds are massive, and I expected as much.  However, I seriously misunderstood the lines.  There are lines for everything!  Being a con-regular, I expected lines for the bigger panels, however, I didn't expect that to get into a 10:00AM panel, you'd have to camp out overnight, or that getting there when the doors opened and waiting in line for 4.5 hours was a normal thin

Went a little crazy yesterday and picked up Child of Eden, Wipeout (cut me some slack, the lady wanted it), Alice: Madness Returns and Red Faction: Armageddon.

I only got to play a bit of Alice and Child of Eden.

Landspeeder, don't bantha on over to http://www.starwarscelebration.com/ for all the goodness.  The dates are August 23-26, 2012 and it will be held in Orlando Florida once again.  Hotel rooms are surprisingly affordable, unlike that scam, Comic Con.  However, the hotels closest to the Orange County Convention Center are filling up fast.

A while back, I decided to play some Lost Cities on the 360 in front of my girlfriend.  She was intrigued, so we bought the game, but never got around to playing it.  Fast forward a few months, and we started to play it and had a great time with it.  I like the board game better than the 360 game.  This led me to show her Catan and Carcasonne, and she's fairly hyped to play the physical versions of those.
