Two very different films, two very different feelings

So this topic came up over the MLG weekend:

A Texas/Arkansas/Oklahoma 2o2p lan. I know a Texas lan was planned at one point and then fell apart. I also know how much of a pain in the ass it was to get Chicago sorted out. 

But I think if we had a Lan in Tulsa or OKC or Dallas or wherever, we’d have a great turnout. Think late fall sometime. Like October.

What say you?

It is done.

We lasted until, what, 1:30 or so?

First round we played some MoB team that played in the pro bracket in NY last year. Ugly. They didn’t beat us like Str8 did, but it was a fair imitation.

Not only did we get beaten, but we had to play at station 2, one of the ones up front that they show on the big screens.

The second round (first round of the losers bracket), we again had to play up front, station 2. Saved us from having to make new profiles. The other team wasn’t around, so we screwed around shooting each other.

Soups done gone and wrote about our FFA adventure. Remember what I said about Prison Sex? yeah, pretty much that was spot on. I blew ass in the FA, but then I blow ass in FFA even when Im not playing against all the big fish in the biggest pond.

I was just happy the little timmy fuck sitting next to me, Yeti-somethingorother, didnt advance either. He came in fifth. I could hear the shattering glass as his broken dreams crashed to the floor. Sniff. A moment of silence for little Timmy.

Fucker.

Went to bed at 4 on account of there being no batteries for the inflatable doll, er, mattress.

Got up at 10am because Soup said they’d be here at 10 to Lan. They call at 10:45 to say they’re on the way.

Why the fuck am I awake?

On a happier note, the Patron Repasado is in the fridge and chillin. I’m sending the little sister out at some point to find a flask.

Last night we had our last team lesson with Foulacy. You might’ve heard of him. He’s on this team called Str8 Rippin. I think they’re pretty good. (Foulacy, Fonzi, Defy, TSquared)

Anyway, after we get finished with our lesson, he asks us if we want to scrim his team. We say sure, because, you know, he was offering for free and normally that shit costs $80.

When I went to Mission: Impossible 3 last weekend, I saw the latest Superman Returns trailer, and because of that, I’m being forced to admit something I’d rather not admit.

  It doesn’t look so bad.
