Does anybody else have one of these that will not end?  Since both my wife and I are teachers, we spend way too much time together in the summers.  My wife wants to work around the house nonstop.  This week I have pressure washed the deck, waterproofed the deck, pressure washed the front of the house and the sidewalk.  Put new mulch in around the trees, pulled up several bushes the wife didn't like.  Sanded off two rocking chairs and a table and repainted all three.  Still need to pressure wash the rest of the house in the morning.  Wife is working on her doctorate and she has class today.  I

After a 9.5 hour drive, I arrived home last night.  It sure is good to sleep in your own bed.  Downloaded Call of Duty 2 demo last night and played a little this morning.  Had a dental appointment today.  Suppose to get teeth cleaned.  All they ended up doing was xrays and pictures.  Turns out my cleaning is going to be a 2 visit affair.  Something about a deep cleaning and root scraping.  Sounds like fun.  Guess that is what I get for not having them cleaned in so long.  Good news is I don't have to pay for my root canal.  The secretary is the mother of one of my softball players so he did it

Just got back from the tour.  I am not a big drinker but on occassion, I like a cold beer.  I loved the tour.  Back in college, I did some homebrewing so it was cool to see things on a much bigger scale.  Plus the free samples were cool.  Tried a lot of stuff I would never have tried elsewhere.  Forgot to mention about the ballgame the other night.  About the seventh inning, we decide to walk around and check out the stadium.  They had the World Series trophy out where you could have your picture made with it.  My wife takes the camera and my two boys and I get in line.  They have two armed gu

Got up yesterday and went to the zoo.  I am not a big fan of zoos but this one is nice.  First of all, its free.  That is always nice for a family of four.  It is big.  We walked for 3 hours and still didn't cover it all.  Eleven of us went and we were all tired.  We spent the rest of the day at the pool.  This morning we are heading downtown to tour the Budweiser brewery.  My friend is getting married at 3 and the reception is not until 6.  Sit down dinner.  I think I would rather go watch the Cardinals again.
