Finally made it.  Been driving all day but finally made it.  Now I am too tired to check things out.  Came up for a friends wedding.  Will be here until Sunday.

I am finally home from the beach.  I stopped in Spartanburg, SC at a Circuit City to pick up Shadowrun.  They had a deal where you got a free $20 game for buying Shadowrun.  They didn't have anything good for $20 so I talked the guy into giving me $20 off a $30 game.  I picked up MLB 2K6 for my boys and  I  to play.  My oldest loves baseball and the only one we have is for the PS2.  I had an offer to buy it so it  is going to a new home.   A Wii  will be taking it's place soon.   Now why am I pissed?  I am unloading the car and my wife has jumped on the 360 to play some Guitar Hero II.   I hav

I know.  Most people like coming to the beach.  It just isn't my thing.  My parents retired down here several years ago and it is a really cheap vacation but I just don't like it.  Too much sand and way too hot for me.  I did take my dad and boys to a Charleston Riverdogs baseball game last night.  That was a lot of fun.  We are leaving in the morning so I just have to make it through the day.  While everybody else is playing Shadowrun tonight, I am stuck at the beach.  This sucks.

My second day off was pretty uneventful.  Stayed up late last night playing Gears so slept in a little this morning.  Got up and went to church.  Came home and played RB6 a little this afternoon while wife went to Walmart.  We are getting up at 5:00 in the morning to go visit my parents at the beach.  It sure is nice having parents at the beach.  Cheap vacation.

Yesterday was my last day of work for about two months.  As of yesterday, I am officially on summer break.  I love teaching but I love summer breaks even more.
