finding the leak

I am staying upstairs!  Eek!  Hubby is tearing up the floor in the kitchen, looking for the leak.  My experience has been that I need to be goooone when he is doing a distasteful job.  Which is just about any job!  Course, I've heard that language before......    The spot is getting bigger, and bigger, and still no clue to where the leak might be.  It's a good thing I have vertigo for an excuse or he would have put me to work a long time ago.  And, better yet, I work the next 3 days.  Best excuse ever!  I'd rather

50 ways.....

I don't have to work today. Good Thing! Vertigo is down to "the hangover" now, which is tolerable. I am still off-balance a little, but the nausea and headache are gone. I guess I will live.

I hate this!

This is sooo unfair!  I am healthy as a horse and always ready for anything.  But, I was at the chiropractor this morning, and, when I went to get up off the "table", I had a nasty vertigo attack.  I know, I felt it coming on for 2 days now, but, I was in denial.  This one was pretty bad.  My world started swinging back and forth, and so did I.  My eyes reacted, as well.  I couldn't focus.  I had the whole shibang......clammy sweat, "dizziness", nausea, headache, etc.  That was around 10:30.  Fortunately, hubby was there, too, but we did drive separate cars.  Once I got upright and able to wal

Where's the leak?

We took Danny to the airport yesterday, sob......  It was nice to see him.  We don't get together near enuf.  It's amazing how years go by and you don't even realize it.  But, he was the same old bro.  Good guy.  He has worked all of his life in construction of some sort.  First with the family business.  Dad put the boys to work as soon as they turned 16.  Then, when Dad retired and dissolved the business, Danny found a similar job and has been working there ever since.  He is now considered the fire and water damage expert at his work.  That's the lead-in for the next part.....  We built thi

Daniel my brother......

Here I sit, totally addicted.  Yes, my name is Penni and I am addicted to my laptop.  My brother is across the room from me, watching TV.  And I am here, with my laptop, blogging.  We went on a nice hike on one of our may trails this afternoon.  Both of us were moaning a little about not having worn our hiking boots.  We took it easy, tho.  Bro was huffing a little on the uphill parts.  Poor guy.  He had glaucoma in one eye and is blind on the one side, but is very, very functional.  He's still working, reads some, and does whatever he wants.  But.
