I have a moral dilemma.  I have this wishlist on Amazon, but the very nature of the wishlist ensures I will know if people got me stuff.  For example, the Kindle is no longer showing up, ditto Epic Mickey.  I'm sure if I switch my view to 'purchased', they'd be there.  So, I know that 2 cats have gotten me two presents off of my wish list. 

On my trip out to Arizona, the wifi on the plane was free.  The seat next to me was open.  I thought, I will pull out my laptop and play some WoW and get the warrior I've been playing since launch - yes, launch - from 53 to 55 so I could roll a Death Knight on a new server and farm gold for my lower level toons in Cataclysm.  Well, let's just say this didn't work as planned.  Once connected, I went to speedtest.net and found my speed to be .1 to .8mbps, I figured this wouldn't do.  Tried it real quick, and yep, it was not playable.  So, I watched Back to the Future on my iPhone and took a l

WoW Cataclysm drops today.  I also preordered Tron: Evolution on a whim - hope that doesn't come back to bite me in the ass.  Don't know if I'll get much time for either tonight - but it may be fun to roll a worgen and a goblin.

I have to fly out to Phoenix tomorrow for a meeting, and am looking forward to some warm weather - it's been cold as a witch's tit in Atlanta lately, and I also do not look forward to the trip up to Massachusetts for X-Mas.  Alas, I'll only be in Arizona for 24 hours or so, and then back to the tundra of the ATL.

Can't really say much about Bama's showing in the Iron Bowl.  I was elated with the performance in the first quarter.  After Richardson's drop in the endzone, it all went to crap.  4 definite points left on the field, and 2 turnovers.  Seems the staff tried to protect the lead in the second half, rather than stick with the game plan.  Against an API squad that can put up big numbers fast, this was a mistake.  The good news is that Newton (Auburn's bought whore) was neutralized, as was Nick Fairley.  It's a shame to see a tremendous gameplan that was clicking just go to crap in the blink of

This weekend, I fell prey to a Toys R Us sale - buy 1, get 1 40% off.  Picked up mostly casual games for the lady, Game Party in Motion, Sims 3, EA Create and Vanquish (for me!).

Game Party: In Motion - terrible, terrible game.  Had this been the first Kinect game I ever played, it would also be the last.  I have seriously considered writing a complaint to Microsoft, chiding them about certifying such a piece of crap on their new hardware peripheral that they're banking on.  This is among the worst games on the 360, and I own Hellboy: Science of Evil.
