Yesterday, I was talking to a coworker during a smoke break about the Worgens.  Decided to pull up WoW Armory on my iPhone to show him the mage I've been messing around with.  Invalid username/password.  Odd, I thought.  Try, try again, fail fail.  I get back to my desk, start looking into things.  Seems they had sent me an email 40 minutes earlier stating that my account had been suspended for gold selling.  I go through the account recovery process, and all is good.  I'm now using their free iPhone authenticator app to guard against this happening again.  A minor pain, but it could have b

After enduring the Delta failure due to the storms up north, I'm happily back in Atlanta.  The trip up to Massachusetts was largely successful.  My parents met the lady, and my mother, who doesn't like many people, seemed to dig her, so that's a plus.  I always find it weird when I get Christmas presents from my parents.  I don't mind a little something, but they like to go out of their way.  This year was no different.  They got me a kindle and a fantastic porcelain football commemerating the Tide's 2009 (untainted) National Championship.  It's a real nice piece, and will look good in my B

Took my annual Christmas trip up north to southeastern Mass and of course, felt concerned with the weather coming in.  Yesterday, I got to the Providence airport nice and early, and as we're about to board, the gate agent says "we're just waiting for our 3rd flight attendant", then we can go.  So I think I'm looking at a little delay.  A few minutes later, the pilots emerge from the plane, so I know the flight is canceled.  After about 10 minutes the gate agent comes back, tells us the flight attendant called in sick, a replacement couldn't come locally as it had started to snow, and anothe

Long story short, I had a company event at our new facility, parked my car at Marta (Atlanta's inefficient version of a subway) at 7:00AM and returned at 9:30PM on Friday.  My passenger window was smashed, and my GPS was stolen.  Jokes on them, the GPS was starting to go tits up.  Anyway, I had left the bracket in the window, but the unit was on the floorboard.  The Marta police didn't want me to file a report, which I found odd, as I routinely check their KPI's.  After explaining to the guy that even though I would not be filing a claim, and that I know that there is virtually no chance th

I was mildly satisfied with Force Unleashed 2.  Given that, I decided to give the 80 point Endor DLC a day in court.  It's a good DLC, and in some ways, better than the core game itself.  It builds off of the Hoth DLC from the first game, and that alternate timeline.  I won't give away any spoilers, but you do come in contact with some original trilogy A-players.  Can't wait for some more.  The dlc gives a good mixture of combat, platforming and environmental manipulation.  Towards the end, it seems to have a couple superfluous sections, probably meant to drag the experience out for an extr

I have a moral dilemma.  I have this wishlist on Amazon, but the very nature of the wishlist ensures I will know if people got me stuff.  For example, the Kindle is no longer showing up, ditto Epic Mickey.  I'm sure if I switch my view to 'purchased', they'd be there.  So, I know that 2 cats have gotten me two presents off of my wish list.
