So I had a great weekend up at the LAN but unfortunately came home to the following problem;

Well, you guys have managed to do what I haven't been for over 3 years now.  Thanks to the kick ass great time we had at the LAN, my wife has informed me that she would like to see if I can get her her own GT and get signed up on the site.  She says she wants to start with Uno but will try out Halo has long as she can play in a small room where people won't make fun of how bad she is.  I didn't have the heart to tell her that making fun of how bad each of us are is what we're all about!

So I just got back from a 18 hr. road trip. ;; Knowing Id be on the road for so long I broke out some of my old cds. ;; (Actually I ripped all of my old stuff to my Creative Zen). ;; Its amazing the stuff that you thought was cool 10-20 years ago. ;; Its also amazing how quickly you forget what you purchased and why. ;; One song that I ran across kind of struck me as unique. ;; The tune is just OK bought I thought the words were pretty thoughtful.

Theres been quite a few political threads and blogs going around lately, and while I tend to quietly read them and keep most of my thoughts to myself it can be difficult at times to stay silent.  For the most part everyone here who participates in the discussions are polite and non-inflamitory in their views and expressions.  Thats part of what makes this community so great.  Theres well over 4000 people in 2o2p (maybe 5k now, Im not really counting) and everyone has a unique view of world events.  After all, the old saying goes - "Opinions are like a**holes, everyones got one."  So in ligh

OK so just a real quick entry for those whod like an answer to the preceding entry. 

Youve all heard of the game Scruples right?  You know the one where they ask you a morally ambiguous question and you try to guess each others responses.  For example.   "Youve sold your house. Before you move out, the roof starts to leak. Do you have it fixed?"

Let me tell you a little story. 

Well this will be the last time you all see me around these parts for the next week or so. ;; On Sunday I leave for beautiful Las Vegas! ;; ;; I would love to bring my 360 with me while Im away but typically the rooms charge a hefty fee for internet access and I think my wife is ready to meet me again for what will seem like the first time after my "affair" with my Xbox. ;; I think itll be good to take a little break.

With several new people buying 360s every week , it seems like there is always plenty of people online right now to catch a chance to play your favorite game online with fellow 202prs. ;; That is why Ive been a little reclusive amongst the Halo2 crowd lately. ;; Theres just been to many people to play COD2 and PGR3 with online that I find myself playing those games instead of Halo.
