Lately, it is taking forever for my PC to boot-up.  On the Windows XP loading screen, it takes about a minute and a half.  From the time my desktop appears until it is fully up and ready to use, another minute or two has passed.  I've cleaned up my hard drive and defragged it and I've eliminated the junk from my start-up.  I've run Ad-Aware to clear out any spyware.  I've cleaned the registry.    One of my next steps will be to using some sort of start-up manager to see what is loading and when and which things might be resource hogs.  But it seems to me that the problem is occuring before

It's been a while since I've blogged.  I went through a phase without my 360 for about a month (3 red lights) and I find that when I'm not able to game, I don't get particularly excited reading about other people who are gaming.

I know a lot of people who hate eBay/PayPal.  While I don't love their pricing policies, there is something strangely addicting about selling stuff on eBay.  I find that I kind of get on a roll once I start selling.  I sell a couple of games or an old DVD player and suddenly I'm looking all over my house thinking "what else can I sell?"

As a guy, I believe there are a few things you don't do.  You don't read the manual.  You don't ask for directions when you're lost.  AND you don't have a personal trainer.  I mean, hey, I'm a guy -- what could someone show me in the gym that I don't already know?

I got some more details on Scott's murder, based on the gas station survailance tape. Right as as Scott was finishing fueling up his SUV, these three punks approached him. One put a snub nosed revolver into Scott's belly and said "give me your money." Scott said, "Fuck you" and tried to grab the gun. The punk then shot him in the gut. This spun Scott around and then this cocksucker fired again, hitting Scott in the back. That second shot went throug an artery and caused Scott to bleed to death.
