Okay, maybe not. But, it has been a long time since my last blog entry.

So, what has made me tardy in my latest outpouring of insightful goodies? Something so damn geekie, I never thought that I would actually partake in it. The latest Harry Potter books.

Notice I didn't say Rap music sucks. I like a lot of rap. the beats are awesome. I have a large sub-woofer box in the back of my 1988 Ford Bronco with a pair of Polk 10"s driven by a Rockford-Fosgate amp that rattle windows. Not all Urban street music qualifies as "Gangsta" either. Just because a song has lyric that mention gangs does not make it a "gangsta" title in my view. Black and Latin urban life is heavily effected by gang activity on a lot of levels so it only makes sense that it would have an impact. Nope, RAP doesn't suck.

I felt like writing about something a little less deep and morose than I usually do. I imagine that some of my entries have led to increased sales of Tylenol and Ibuprofen so a break would be good.

Why do we play video games?

When I say we I am of course referring to us, those on this forum. We already know why the "Timmies" do it. We know why because we were there at one time. Care free youth (trust me, for some, not so care free) is fleeting. To have no further considerations or responsibilities outside of your own personal space is awesome.
